Today it was VERY hot around here. (I believe it hit over 100* with the heat index! WHOA!) So in order to stay cool and have something fun to do, Sunshine and I went to Chuck E Cheese; I had found some tokens left over from a previous visit so off we went! We played for a few hours and once we ran out of tokens we went home. Sunshine was so well behaved! I was so proud of her. Not one melt down about any thing while we were there! She is such a sweet, wonderful little girl.
Posing with the mechanical Chuck E.
We did not get to see the "real" one walking around.
Riding some rides and playing some games!
More rides and games!

Cashing in her tickets and turning them in for goodies! She is such a funny little girl. She had almost 300 tickets to spend and she picked out a bracelet, granola bar, and an air head candy. She still has 90 tickets left over for another time!
We have been learning about nursery rhymes and classic fairy tales over the past couple of weeks. Last weekend we went to Storyland and I wanted her to recognize the stories/characters before we went. This is just a snap shot of the fun learning activities we have done. (Most of these activities came from either Making Learning Fun or DLTK.)
Making a Mama Bear Puppet from Goldilocks
and the Three Bears.
Humpty Dumpty puzzle; she had to color, cut out,
and glue him back together again.
Baa Baa Black Sheep mini dobber page.
Gluing together a lamb from Mary Had a
Little Lamb.
