STBL: #26 Drive In Movie

Sunshine and I finally made it to the drive in theater!!!  We saw a double feature of The Smurfs and Spy Kids: All the Time in the World.

We found out she couldn't see well enough in the just the front seat.....

... so I moved her car seat to the front (for the movies only) and we had a yummy
snack of ice cream as The Smurfs began!

The Smurfs was SUPER cute and VERY well done!
It was like a throw back to my youth!

During intermission we got a glow necklace and shared some popcorn and
other goodies that we brought from home!

Spy Kids came with a scratch and sniff card.  Each time a number came up on
the screen you scratched the corresponding one on the card and smelled
something that we going on in the movie.  It was w as fun twist and kept
the movie interesting.

It was after midnight by the time both movies were over and we were on
our way home.  It was such a fun night for both of us!

STBL: #7 Go to Funworld

Sunshine, her daddy, and I went to Funworld last weekend. It was a good time! Sunshine rode some rides, played some games, won a bunch of tickets, and got an arm load of prizes! Here are just a few pictures (sorry they are blurry - they were taken with my cell phone!) from the fun:

STBL: #10 Go to the Zoo

On Friday Sunshine and I went to the zoo.  One of our local zoos was having a day with free admission so we packed up and off we went.  By the time we got there it was literally a "zoo" with people and there was NO parking so we left and went to another zoo.  (Thankfully we have 4 decent zoos with in driving distance of our house!)  We went to Southwick Zoo, which we had never been to before.  It was a fun, but LONG day.  Here are my favorite pictures from our day:

STBL: #24 See Granite State Zoo

Sunshine and I went to the last Thursday night family series that our local library put on this summer. This last one was done by Granite State Zoo.  We brought along Ry and her older sister for the fun!

First we saw a skunk (who was thankfully de-skunked)!

Then a rare kind of macaw!

Next an artic fox kit.  So cute!

Then a legless lizard (not sure how a picture of the macaw got in there!).

STBL: #14 Friendly Farm

Sunshine and I went to The Friendly Farm last Friday! It was such a fun day and we got to visit with a ton of farm animals!

Sunshine was a bit nervous around the sheep at first,
but quickly got the hang of feeding them!

We had 4 bags of feed to share with all the animals.  The goats kept swarming us!
