"I am siiiiiigiiinnnggg!" -Buddy the Elf
Sunshine LOVES to sing!! She is always singing something and most times when she is talking she says it in a sing-songy way. Since she was tiny we always played music for her and even when I was pregnant I played music for her. Today as we were on our way home from an errand, she was in her carseat and made up a little song that went like this:
"Everybody loves me!
Everybody loves me!
Momma and Daddy
Nunny and Papa
I am special so
Everybody love me!"
Just so adorable and she is so right!! She is loved by many and is VERY special!

A Very Merry Un-birthday!
Today Sunshine is 3.5 years old! Where has the time gone! In just 6 short months, I will be the mother of a 4 year old! WOAH! Really? She is just an amazing little monkey who my cup run over for. She near ceases to amaze me, even if she does drive me batty at times. She is starting to recognize her name, can count to 15, can identify a handful of letters and numbers, loves to dance, is very compassionate, and is kind. She is the best thing that I have ever created in my life and I look forward to watching her grow some more!
Happy 1/2 birthday love bug!

Preschool Game Review: I Remember
Sunshine got many board games for Christmas and we have played many of them so I thought it would be useful to others to do some game reviews; take or leave them, but if they help you make a choice about spending money on a game for your preschooler that's GREAT!
I bought her this game at WalMart right around Thanksgiving and put it away for Christmas. It was on clearance for $4 and Sunshine is very into the Disney Princesses right now so I thought it was a good buy.
Name: I Remember
Made By: Cardinal
Age Recommendation: 3+
Number of Players: 2-4
Type of Game: Memory/Matching
Assembly Time: 10 Minutes
Game Play Time: 20 Minutes (average)
Basic Game Play: Each plastic princess has a sticker on the bottom; each sticker has an item representing one of the seven featured princesses (Jazmine, Cinderella, Snow White, Tianna, Ariel, Belle and Aurora), such as a frog, crown, and firefly for Tianna. There is also a stack of cards, one card for each princess with smaller pictures of each matching item. Each player picks a card and has to find the smaller matching items by looking on the bottom of a princess on each turn. If you get a match on your card then you get to pick another princess. When you match all the items on your card, you pick another one. Game play continues like this until all the princesses are matched up. Who ever has the most princesses at the end of the game wins.
Review: This is a cute game! It does come with more then one card per princess, which I do not get. It gets confusing if more then one person is looking for the same items and hard to keep track of which pieces have been found and which are still to be located. We just use one set of the cards and it makes it much less confusing. Overall it is a good game and my little princess loves playing it!

Christmas Activities 2010
Here are a bunch of Christmas themed activities that we did with Sunshine. Some of it came from 1+1+1=1 and others came from items I purchased at the dollar store.
