Dictionary Kayley Style

Kayley has many words right now, although many of them are hard to understand out of context if you do not knw what she is actually saying. Here are some of the words and as I think of more I will add them:

1. Eeeee - (Lovey) - her bestest stuffed animal buddy of which we have 2 and she carries at least one around most anywhere we go

2. Poopoo - self explanitory

3. Maak - (Milk)

4. Wharyu? - (Where are you?)

5. Getchu - (I'm going to get you!)

6. Ah ah ah - (Woof, woof, woof)

7. Eeow - (Meow)

8. Bop - (Book)

9. Gorge - (Curious George)

10. Ni-ni - (Nite nite)

11. Num-num - (Food or Eat)

Houston, we have a ...

POOP!!! YAY!! Kayley pooped in the potty last night for DH while she was taking a bath. He said she farted in the tub and he asked her if she had to go poopoo and she said yes. She he sat her on the potty and out came two little nuggets! It's a start right??????????

Since I am going to be off for sometime with Kayley since my school year is over, I am hoping to work on potty learning with her. Hopefully it will go quickly and easily. Wish us luck!

Can You Hear Me Now?

This afternoon as I was leaving the grocery store I was calling Damian to let him know I was on my way home. I was VERY surprised to hear a little voice on the other end say "Hewwo!" I said "Hi Kayley! How are you sweetie?" Then I hear here jabber on about god knows what and then Damian's surprised voice say, "Hello??" He had no idea the phone rang and was even more surprised when he realized Kayley had answered it! :-) What a silly, smart girl we have!

Quite the Scare

My husband says I worry too much; maybe he is right, but here is my adventure for the the day. As I arrived to pick Kayley up from Child Care today there is a fire truck in the parking lot and an ambulance turning in just before me. My heart starts to race and I begin getting VERY nervous thinking that I some how missed a call from them and Kayley's had another episode. I check my phone as I rush out of my car to head into the building; no missed calls. This makes me feel a bit better, but my pace is still faster then normal as I head into the building to retrive my child. As I go past the office there are two EMT's and many other staff from the center crowded in this small area. They are hovering over someone's child who is lying on the floor. I see one of Kayley's teachers, which makes me start to worry more. I get to her classroom all the way on the other side of the building, she jumps out of her seat from snack, and runs over to me, thankfully. Phew, it's not my child this time! Kayley's other two teachers are obviously frazzled and it turns out that one of the little boys in her classroom just had a seizure. Wow.... how frightening. That poor little guy. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers (whatever it is you do) that he is ok!

NSD

Today is National Scrapbooking Day and although that doesn't really have anything to do with Kayley, I want to share some of the pages I have completed today. Both were from challanges from a website called A Cherry on Top. The first one was a photography challange where you had to use a picture that followed the "Rule of Thirds". Here is my take on it:

The next one had very specific requirements, according to my make-up style, which was determined to be minimal. Here was my take on it:
