STBL: #25 Sand Castle Competition at the Beach

Sunshine and I went to the beach last week with my good friend Kellee and her kiddos; her youngest daughter Ryleigh is Sunshine's bestest friend.   They are only 3 weeks apart in age.  It was FREEZING out; barely 60* hence the huge sweat shirt Sunshine is wearing.  We went to see the annual sand castle competition.  We did not get to see the completed castles as we had to go before they were finished because we were going away the following weekend, but that's for another post!

Even though it was freezing the girls had a GREAT time running down the beach, splashing in the puddles, getting all wet and covered in sand.  Silly girls!

Dance Recital 2011

On June 19th Sunshine had her very first dance recital!  She took tap lessons this year and loved it!  Her and her class danced to "Shake A Tail Feather".  We were all SO proud of her!!!!!!!!!!!!!  (Click on the pictures to see them larger!)

STBL: #32 Watch a Fisher Cats game!

Tonight, Sunshine and I were lucky enough to get tickets to go see the Fisher Cats tonight, our local minor league team.  Even though it was cold and rainy, we didn't let it ruin our fun!!!  It was a GREAT time even though we didn't stay through the whole game!  We are so thankful for family members who often think of us!

Girlie Day!

What a fun day we had!  Little Miss Sunshine, Nunny, and myself had a girlie day today! We all got mani/pedis!  This was our gift from Papa for Mother's Day.  Sunshine sat so well and was so patient while she had her nails done! She picked blue for her toes and purple for her fingers.  She even got little flowers and polka-dots to embellish them!  YAHOO!

THANK YOU PAPA SO MUCH FOR OUR GIRLIE DAY!
