Snow Shoveling Fun!

Roller Painting & Color Mixing

For Christmas Sunshine received this Sponge Painting Design Set from Lakeshore Learning.  We used the rollers the other night and she had a great time!  I put out white, yellow, and blue paint.  As she painted the colors mixed and created various shades of green.  She was so excited to watch the colors mix!  I taped a long piece of paper to the floor and let her go at it!  She loved it so much I had to add a second piece! By the time she was done there was paint all over her hand, feet, and the floor but it was well worth the mess!

Momma and Me Mani/Pedi

Yep, Sunshine LOVES having her finger and toe nails painted! What girlie-girl doesn't?  This afternoon we did a stay-at-home mani/pedi and it was such fun!!!

The assortment of colors to choose from!
Preparing those cute little piggy toes!
Smoothing and shaping!
Her colors of choice for her toes were pink and blue!
Attempting to file her own finger nails!
She kept telling me it felt weird and tickled!
Two different shades of purple for her fingers!  One of them has "sprinkles" in it! LOL!
Our finished toes! Yep, I painted mine the SAME way!
Our finished fingers! She chose purple and green with "sprinkles" for my fingers! Lucky me!
Her oh so pretty finger nails!
Nothing makes a girl feel more girlie, then painted fingers and toes!

Valentine's Day Art

Sunshine and I sat down with some glue, heart shaped doilies, and heart shaped stickers the other night! Here is what we created!

Starting the process of creating her Valentine's for Daddy, my parents, and DH parents.

And here is the finished work!  The small sticker on the back says her name and 2011.

Then she got creative and used the left over doilies and heart stickers to create this masterpiece!  The picture really doesn't do it justice.  She stacked the 6 remaining doilies, in a pattern of red/pink/red/pink, etc and they are actually 3D looking!! Its so neat!!!

Tiny Dancer: Part IV

Sunshine's still loving her dance class and they are now preparing for their dance recital!  Its so cute watching them all learn the steps and practice them over and over!!  Here is a short clip of what they have learned for it so far.  (Sorry it's so jittery.  I took the video with my phone.)

Future Architect?

Building a home for her kittys. (You can see one of them behind her arm.)

Cheesy grin says it all! Do you think she's proud of what she created?

Up close and personal with the home she built!
